Soccer

James finished his 5th year of soccer this spring, and he was sad to see it end. He continued to mostly play defense where he's quite the formidable foe. This year's team was made up half of kids from his school and half from Layton Elementary. The 9 boys all had their positions they excelled in and worked well as a team.

And, because we had a very difficult coaching situation last year, Ivy and another mom, Andrea, got up enough guts to co-coach the kids this year. With a little help from our good friends Ben and Zack, we lucked out and didn't look like complete fools. =)

Now we have a small break until August when soccer will start all over again. And the brave Ivy will try her hand at coaching one more time...
