Driving in Idaho

I can't belive that the drive through Idaho IN THE WINTER went so well today. We made it to Salmon in record time! The roads were DRY except for a small patch of ice and snow about 75 miles out of Salmon.

When we made the turn on to Hwy 28 we counted 7 large birds of prey (not sure what they were exactly, but they were big). Once we got to the part of the road that passes through the Idaho Nationa Laboratory we didn't see any more. Aside from that we didn't see anything much to interesting, except for this:The kids won their game tonight in zero degree (and lower!) weather. I think the final score was 10 to 1. Back at the hotel there was plenty of mini hockey (kids down on their knees with small sticks and small nets) in the hallway.
