The Wildcats faced the Idaho Falls Eagles in the final game, and the outcome was a big repeat in history. Back at the Thanksgiving Tournament in Ogden the final game came down to the Wildcats and the Eagles, and the Wildcats finally won in overtime. This time, with less than 2 minutes to go in the game the Eagles scored another goal, bringing the game to a tie, and yes, another overtime. The 5 minutes came and went and still a tie game, leading us to a shootout. Talk about intense! In the end, Idaho won, but we will likely meet up with them again at their tournament in a couple of weeks.
After winning the second place trophy, James' team mates thanked him for his support of the team by giving him the trophy. James was so thankful, and this kind gesture from his team mates was the perfect ending to an enjoyable weekend.
