Sometime around 4:00 this afternoon it began to snow. But, the good thing about snow is it usually means it will be a bit warmer outside (and it was!). After spending years in Utah with the greatest snow on earth, I had never seen snow like this. It was the same kind of snow you purchase from the store to decorate your house. Light, fluffy, doesn't stick to anything and it flies away when you blow on it. And it's pretty too. We just don't get snow like this in Utah.

James, Coach Clay and Coach Frank looking through all that snow.Last year James played a hockey game in the snow in Salmon and it was quite interesting. When the snow gets pretty heavy the puck doesn't go very far, no matter how much effort you put into it. Luckily, by the time our boys got on the ice the snow had let up a bit, making play a bit easier.
The Jr. Wildcats won yet another game, score 7 to 2. If we win the game against Salmon in the morning we should be able to go to the championship game. Good luck boys!

Way to go Jr. Wildcats!!! I bet it would be pretty hard to skate and play in the snow. We get some strange snow here too but it mostly comes in the form of ice flakes.
